It's a gone-bee

What's a gone-bee? I hear you ask. After weeks of trying, the Silly Little Japanese Car is now gone! It's sold! This is the best news of the day!! I'm so excited!

Since I'm at it, I should probably try and write some other stuff too since I was going to make an effort to write something at least once a week and it is a week since my last post. (Oops! Two weeks.) So what have I been up too? Well, Ariskah, the Pharmacist, M & I had our last Ceroc lesson on Tuesday night. The guy that was running it said that they like people to go through 2 cycles of beginner lessons before they move up to intermediate. There was talk of attending the ones at first church but it's going to take some juggling to get a night that suits the 4 of us.

Monday I spent the morning at Mitre 10 mega with Dook buying 2 trailer loads of timber for a mammoth project that we are constructing at work.

Sunday I spent the afternoon lying around watching Holden loose Bathurst to Ford. I thought Mark Skaife was going to clean up, he was starting from pole position, but a slipping clutch saw him taken out of the race in the first few hundred meters. The other HRT car managed to pile into the wall too. As did one of the Supercheap Auto Holden’s, the AEG racing Ford, the TKR Holden, one of the Toll HSV Holden’s, both FPR cars and others. In total the safety car was used 10 times, at points in the race there were only a few laps at full race speed before another incident occurred. I was also nursing a knee injury that happened when I was at the gym on Friday. It's heaps better now though.

  • flippin' slippin' clutch! Good to hear your knee's better - no slacking from the gym while I'm away...
